Young People's Multimedia Day

Young People's Centre, Ship Street, 18 May 2002

A chance to see what young people can do with multimedia - and have a go yourself at digital video, music, web pages, photography writing, dance and more. Suitable for 13 - 25 year olds. FREE

Professional musicians and choreographers will be running workshops for young people during March and April to create digital video and music projects.

Virtual Festival Community Showcase

Made a video about your community? Fancy seeing it on the big screen?

Send us your video and we'll choose the best for a free community video show at the Duke of York's Cinema. We'll also be ruinning workshops during May covering basic digital video techniques.

A series of talks and informal events helping to make sense of the digital age. Guest speakers will cover subjects such as Green Computing, Accessible Web Design and How to Search the Internet.

Come and join us as we take the Virtual Festival Cybercafe out one the road. We'll be popping up at different events offering people a chance to try the net, have a go at digital photography and ask our resident Cyberguides all the things you never knew about the internet but were too afraid to ask.
