What's the difference?

Curious about how other computer systems work, but don't know who to ask? These workshops give you a chance to see what they offer. What's the difference between these systems and Windows? What's good and what's bad about switching from one to the other?

They are not sales pitches but an opportunity to get impartial, objective advice and a hands on chance to play with the systems themselves.

Open Source software is free and becoming ever more popular. But is it just for techies who can manage their own machines or to reduce costs for large corporate servers? Is there really a case for individuals and small organisations to switch? What are the costs? What help will you need and where can you get it?
