This contemporary play by Sean Ashley Cook looks at the relationships between four gay men, their lives and loves. The central issue is HIV/AIDS - exploring the effect it has on the group's emotions and friendships.

From its full-on start the audience is soon drawn into the developing story of Ricki, who is HIV+, and his attempt to come to terms with his diagnosis through Buddhism.

Ricki's character is interestingly played by female actress Syd Wells who expertly captures gay male nuances.

From time to time - the dialogue seemed a bit wordy. Yet, the cast give dynamic performances reflecting the modern gay experience and wit.

Difficult issues are handled without too much sentimentality. We are shown from the point of view of a patient what they have to go through. We see that despite advances in longevity treatment, not everyone benefits from these advances.

All in all, a sexy cast hold it together. a special mention has to go to the touching finale - performed by two winged angels who sing a choral version of last Summer's dance anthem by Ultra Nate - Free.
